About the role#
This is a full-time, 4-month internship for the Winter 2027 term, running from January to April. You will work with the CRE Financial Operations team to support strategic initiatives and operational planning. This position is a paid opportunity based in Toronto.
What you'll do#
- Assist with financial modeling, performance management, and business case development.
- Conduct research on best practices and perform data analytics to support decision-making.
- Help with departmental planning, financial oversight, and resourcing tasks.
- Collaborate across CRE teams to support new projects and gather information.
- Develop content for internal and external communication channels.
- Execute tactical plans for enterprise-wide initiatives.
What you'll need#
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and solve problems efficiently.
- A collaborative mindset and a high degree of integrity.
- Keen attention to detail and project management capabilities.
- Motivation to learn and a sense of curiosity.
- Academic background in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
- A background in CRE, technical data analytics skills, or an aspiration to complete a CPA designation are considered assets.
