About the role#
This is a four month internship within the Global Procurement Technology Sourcing team at RBC. You will work alongside senior procurement representatives to manage supplier relationships and support the acquisition of various goods and services. The position runs from January 2027 to April 2027.
What you'll do#
- Develop an understanding of RBC spend across multiple categories.
- Assist in the drafting, review, and negotiation of contracts for products and services.
- Create performance metrics to measure and report on supplier and sourcing effectiveness.
- Help manage the end to end sourcing process for assigned categories.
- Ensure all sourcing activities follow established internal policies and practices.
- Support business units by providing guidance on supplier management processes.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment at a Canadian post-secondary institution in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Data Science, Law, or a related field.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Ability to complete projects on time with a high level of accuracy.
- Keen attention to detail.

- Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
- Work Modality: Hybrid, on-site, or remote arrangements may be available and will be discussed with the hiring manager.
- Employment Type: Full time, paid internship.
- Eligibility: You must be returning to school after April 2027 or require this work term as a mandatory graduation requirement.
