About the role#
We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer Intern to join our team in Merrimack, New Hampshire. This role is for someone who enjoys combining engineering theory with practical, hands-on production work. You will spend your time on the shop floor building, testing, and troubleshooting systems alongside our technicians and operators.
What you'll do#
- Perform hands-on assembly of components, subassemblies, and systems.
- Fit, adjust, and test hardware to verify it meets all specifications.
- Troubleshoot production issues in collaboration with our manufacturing teams.
- Support process improvements by observing workflows, gathering data, and helping implement corrective actions.
- Conduct timing studies to evaluate cycle times and find opportunities for improvement.
What you'll need#
- Completion or near-completion of a two- or four-year technical degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Practical experience in an assembly, production, or manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency with hand tools and general shop-floor work.
- Ability to apply structured problem-solving to manufacturing challenges.
- Ability to meet the physical requirements of the role, including extended standing, bending, stooping, and lifting.
