About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for students pursuing degrees in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science. You will work on-site at our San Diego facility, gaining hands-on experience with engineering methods and practices. You will be mentored by experienced engineers and collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team.
What you'll do#
- Assist engineers with daily assignments, design analysis, and calculations.
- Work with microcontrollers and FPGA platforms.
- Develop PC-based software applications to communicate with firmware development platforms.
- Conduct limited scope testing on both PC and embedded platforms.
- Gather and assemble data for engineering projects.
- Help with research in specific fields and assist with design details.
- Complete tasks on time while learning about company programs and practices.
- Support the mission and culture of the organization.
What you'll need#
- High school diploma or GED.
- Current enrollment in a Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science degree program.
- Progress toward your engineering degree.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build a professional network.
- A diligent, hardworking approach and a willingness to learn quickly.
