About the role#
The LSQ Seminary Internship Program is a one-year, paid, part-time ministry position. It is designed for college graduates who are enrolled in or planning to enroll in a seminary program in New York City. You will gain hands-on ministry experience while growing in your faith and calling. This is a 20-hour-per-week commitment for 50 weeks, with 2 weeks of vacation. While the program lasts one year, there may be an opportunity to extend it for an additional year.
What you'll do#
- Join the LSQ staff and attend weekly staff meetings.
- Take on specific leadership responsibilities within a ministry area, such as Pastoral Care, Community Life, Mercy and Justice, or Worship Arts.
- Meet regularly with your supervisor and pastors for coaching, encouragement, and ministry development.
- Work in a specific ministry area tailored to your role after hiring.
What you'll need#
- An undergraduate degree.
- Enrollment in a New York City seminary program or plans to enroll before the program starts. You must remain enrolled throughout the internship.
- Regular attendance at Redeemer LSQ.
- Membership in a Gospel-Centered Church with a recommendation from your church for this internship.
- A clear desire to participate in the program for the benefit of others and the glory of God.
