About the role#
This summer internship offers hands-on experience across multiple HR functions. You will work with HR professionals and business leaders to support daily operations and contribute to meaningful business initiatives. This role is designed for students who want to build foundational skills in a corporate setting while gaining exposure to talent acquisition, compensation, employee engagement, and HR systems.
What you'll do#
- Support day-to-day HR operations and programs that improve the employee experience.
- Partner with the HR team on initiatives related to culture, engagement, and development.
- Assist with recruiting, onboarding, and talent retention efforts.
- Maintain employee data and support reporting, analytics, and process improvement.
- Collaborate on cross-functional projects and present your project outcomes and findings to HR leadership at the end of the term.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Leadership, or a related field.
- Your expected graduation date is between Fall 2027 and Spring 2030.
- You have a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
- You are proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- You must be eligible to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
Location & details#
- Locations: Milwaukee, WI; Rosemont, IL; or Radford, VA.
- Term: June 2, 2027, through August 13, 2027.
- Modality: This is a hybrid role. You will work onsite at your designated location at least 3 days per week, with the option to work remotely up to 2 days.
- Compensation: $19 to $25 per hour, depending on location, skills, and experience.
- Employment type: Full-time.
