About the role#
The Branch Operations Intern role focuses on learning the consumer finance business and the company practices. You will prepare for potential branch management responsibilities while assisting in the daily growth of the branch office.
What you'll do#
- Learn our personal loan product offerings to help customers make financial decisions.
- Build customer relationships by providing service.
- Learn the process of underwriting loans.
- Work with past-due customers to arrange payment plans.
- Execute business plans for outbound solicitation to former customers.
- Close loans under the direction of the Branch Manager.
- Complete the required training program.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a full-time Sophomore, Junior, or Senior in an accredited college program.
- Ability to work between 8 and 25 hours per week.
- Computer literacy skills.
- Majors in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Marketing.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment assessment, drug screen, credit check, and criminal background check.
- Eligibility and willingness to obtain all required certifications and licenses.

- This position is located in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.
- Work is on-site at the branch office.
- The role is paid and follows a rolling term.
