About the role#
Repsol is hiring a Geology & Geophysics Intern for the summer of 2027. This is a full-time, on-site position based in The Woodlands, Texas. You will work with our teams to support subsurface projects and gain hands-on experience in the oil and gas industry.
What you'll do#
- Compile, organize, and interpret subsurface data.
- Prepare technical maps, exhibits, and presentations.
- Join team meetings and project discussions to learn about subsurface workflows.
- Work with cross-functional teams on various projects.
- Follow all company safety standards and procedures.
What you'll need#
- Completed at least two years toward a Bachelor's degree or higher in Geology, Geophysics, or a related geoscience field.
- Current enrollment as a student for the Fall 2027 semester.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Must be fully authorized to work in the US without sponsorship. We cannot support OPT, CPT, or F1 visa programs for this role.
Location & details#
- The internship is located in The Woodlands, Texas.
- You must be available for the full duration from May 17th to August 6th.
- This is an on-site role. Non-local candidates must arrange their own travel and housing.
- Interns receive an hourly wage and a summer stipend. You are not eligible for benefits or paid time off, though you will be compensated for observed company holidays.
