About the role#
Repsol is seeking an engineering student to join the Reservoir Engineering Team for a summer internship in 2027. You will support the Subsurface Development team in evaluating strategic alternatives to maximize asset value. This role involves working on live projects alongside experienced professionals, with an opportunity to present your work to staff at the end of the program.
What you'll do#
- Maintain an integrated geophysical and geological model of the subsurface.
- Develop and characterize an inventory of capital investment opportunities.
- Calculate the annual reserve process and provide data for reserve reporting.
- Build an annual capital program for the asset that aligns with strategic plans.
- Coordinate field visits with your supervisor.
What you'll need#
- Completed at least 2 years of a Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer, Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, or Aerospace Engineering.
- A cumulative and major GPA of 3.3 or higher.
- Full authorization to work for any employer in the US without sponsorship. We cannot support OPT, CPT, or F1 visa programs.
- Availability for a continuous 12-week period from May 17th to August 6th, 2027.
Location & details#
- This position is based in The Woodlands, Texas.
- The role is full-time and on-site, Monday through Friday.
- This is a paid internship. Non-local candidates are responsible for their own travel and housing arrangements, though a stipend is provided to help offset expenses.
