About the role#
As a Software Engineering Intern, you will contribute to customer-facing software for software-defined vehicles. You will work within our Infotainment and Mobile Applications teams on projects ranging from Android platform development and in-vehicle applications to wireless integration and graphics features. This is a full-time position where you will be matched with a specific team based on your background and interests.
What you'll do#
- Design, develop, and test software features for infotainment, mobile, or connectivity applications.
- Write code using Kotlin, Java, C++, or Python.
- Collaborate with product and design partners to define feature requirements.
- Debug and resolve issues throughout the development and testing lifecycle.
- Present your progress and work to your team on a regular basis.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's program at an accredited Canadian university, specifically in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
- Proficiency in Kotlin, Java, C++, or Python.
- Experience developing Android applications or familiarity with the Android Automotive OS framework.
- Coursework or project experience involving wireless protocols such as LTE, Wi-Fi, or BLE.
- Exposure to 3D graphics engines, including Unreal Engine, OpenGL, or Vulkan.

- Location: Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Term: Winter 2027 and Summer 2027.
- Commitment: Full-time (January 11, 2027, to August 13, 2027).
- Compensation: This is a paid position.
