About the role#
This is a paid, full-time Assurance Internship for the Winter 2028 term. You will work on-site in Nashville, Tennessee, gaining direct experience with our audit processes and client engagements.
What you'll do#
- Learn about client business models, industry standards, and their specific accounting and control systems.
- Get familiar with the RSM audit approach and our internal tools.
- Evaluate client internal control structures and assess potential risks.
- Perform substantive tests to identify and resolve accounting or reporting issues.
- Draft financial statements using our prescribed formats.
What you'll need#
- You are currently working toward a B.A. or B.S. degree in Accounting.
- You have completed at least 90 credit hours.
- You can travel to assigned client locations and have a reliable way to get there.
- We prefer candidates with at least a 3.0 GPA, strong communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
