About the role#
We are looking for a Finance Automation Consulting Intern to join our regional Finance Automation practice for Summer 2027. This team focuses on modernizing the office of the CFO. You will gain experience in an entrepreneurial environment while working on client projects related to system implementations, process improvement, and financial transformation.
What you'll do#
- Consult with accounting, financial, and operational management personnel to help improve their business operations.
- Assist with implementation projects, including assessing, troubleshooting, and testing during the implementation cycle.
- Train and advise clients on how to use products to meet their specific needs.
- Perform process analysis, optimization, documentation, and project management tasks.
- Participate in the firm's sales process.
What you'll need#
- Completion of at least 90 credit hours.
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Management Information Systems, or an IT-related field.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and solve complex problems.
- Relevant work experience in accounting, operations, or performance improvement consulting is preferred.
Location & details#
- This internship is based in Denver, Colorado.
- Work is performed on-site, remotely, or in a hybrid capacity, though client travel may be required.
- This is a paid, full-time position.
