About the role#
As an Oracle NetSuite Consulting Intern in our Business Applications practice, you will join project teams to execute implementations and system changes. You will work alongside project leads and managers to apply firm methodology to client projects. This is a full-time, paid summer internship based in Dallas.
What you'll do#
- Complete tasks and milestones including functional and design specifications, configurations, quality assurance, and data migration.
- Collaborate with internal and client teams to configure base NetSuite functionality, customizations, and third-party integrations.
- Assist in requirements gathering sessions to map business processes to technical solutions.
- Assess current client systems and business processes to suggest improvements.
- Execute testing scenarios and assist with data migration from legacy systems.
- Train end users on NetSuite features and help them define customized reports, dashboards, and KPIs.
- Provide support for client questions and troubleshooting.
- Work across multiple time zones, occasionally outside standard office hours.
- Maintain curiosity about client needs and identify potential opportunities for additional value.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Supply Chain Management, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
- You are one year away from graduation with your highest intended degree.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Strong conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Excel.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts in business terms.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong team player with the ability to interact with staff at all levels.
- Solid understanding of business and information technology processes.
- Ability to travel to local client sites if needed.
