About the role#
As a Process Risk and Controls Consulting Intern, you will work with businesses across diverse industries. You will gain hands-on experience and interact with clients at various management levels. Each intern is assigned a Performance Advisor to help guide their professional development throughout the summer. You will support risk assessment services, including internal audits, SOX compliance, and financial reporting control projects.
What you'll do#
- Sit in on client meetings and support consulting project execution.
- Prepare reports on consulting services and discuss findings and recommendations with clients.
- Complete projects efficiently according to established timelines.
- Use Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint to analyze client data and document results.
- Travel to client locations as requested to provide services.
- Attend specific conferences, trainings, and meetings for professional development.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a B.A. or B.S. degree in Accounting, Finance, or Data Science.
- Expected graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA is preferred.
- Strong multi-tasking and project management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- High degree of integrity and professionalism.
- Access to reliable transportation for travel to client sites.
- CPA certification or progress toward certification is preferred.

- Location: Irvine, California.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Modality: On-site, full-time.
- Compensation: $33 to $39 per hour.
