About the role#
As a Technology Risk Consulting Intern, you will work with businesses across industries such as manufacturing, real estate, construction, healthcare, and private equity. You will gain hands-on experience with direct access to business owners and executive management. Each intern is assigned a Performance Advisor to guide their development throughout the summer.
What you'll do#
- Assist clients with the design and optimization of controls using your knowledge of business processes, accounting, and information technology.
- Identify internal control deficiencies, evaluate risk implications, and advise clients on the best course of action.
- Create internal control documentation to support client engagements.
- Engage with client leadership to discuss strategies for anticipating emerging technology risks.
- Conduct Information Technology controls testing to support financial statement audits.
What you'll need#
- Completion of at least 90 credit hours.
- Current enrollment in a B.A. or B.S. degree program at an accredited university.
- A major in Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA is preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Certification or progress toward a CPA, CISA, or CIA is preferred.

- Location: Atlanta, Georgia.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Modality: This is an on-site, full-time internship.
- Compensation: $30 to $36 per hour.
