About the role#
The Spark Summer Internship is a full-time, twelve-week program running from May 2027 through August 2027. You will join an intern cohort and work directly with experienced professional and technical employee-owners. This role offers exposure to various service lines including civil, environmental, geotechnical, and transportation engineering.
What you'll do#
- Gain hands-on experience in your area of interest.
- Participate in professional development sessions to assist with your transition from campus to career.
- Learn about the different aspects of the firm.
- Engage with technical experts across the company.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a degree program related to Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Preference is given to rising juniors, seniors, or graduate students.
- Preference for candidates with related experience or leadership roles in campus, community, or work environments.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions for technical roles.
- Ability to perform routine lifting of 40 to 50 lbs.
- Willingness to travel out of town if required.
- Ability to meet the requirements of the company Fleet Management Program, Substance Policy, and Reference check program.
- Valid employment eligibility verification (I-9).
