About the role#
Saga Education is hiring a Federal Work-Study Math Tutor to support students at Stacy Middle School in Milford, Massachusetts. This is a part-time, remote position that runs on a rolling basis through June 2026. You will earn $25 per hour while providing academic support to 6th and 7th-grade students.
What you'll do#
- Provide virtual math tutoring to two students at a time.
- Prepare and deliver lessons using the provided curriculum.
- Participate in asynchronous training sessions.
- Work Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 2:15 PM to 3:15 PM EST.
- Dedicate approximately 3 hours per week to the role, including lesson preparation and direct tutoring.
What you'll need#
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience and the ability to adapt to diverse learning needs.
- An on-camera presence during all tutoring sessions.
- The ability to complete a CORI/SORI background check.
- A willingness to learn and apply high-impact tutoring techniques and use the proprietary virtual platform.

- This position is fully remote.
- This is a part-time, paid role open to students eligible for Federal Work-Study.
- Applicants must be available during the scheduled tutoring hours.
