About the role#
As a Lead Math Instructor, you will guide students in K-12th grade to help them understand and master mathematics. This role involves balancing instructional duties with team leadership. You will work in a part-time capacity with a flexible schedule that includes after school and weekend hours.
What you'll do#
- Lead, coach, and work with team members to provide individualized instruction in a group setting.
- Teach students in-center or online using the Mathnasium Method.
- Monitor student progress and engagement during sessions.
- Keep parents and guardians informed about student development.
- Use digital educational materials and follow internal teaching processes.
What you'll need#
- Math competency through at least Algebra I.
- Ability to pass a math literacy test.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- A desire to learn and complete training.
- Interest in working with students.
- Ability to manage both leadership tasks and teaching responsibilities.
