About the role#
We are hiring a part-time Liquor Clerk for our Erin Ridge Liquor Store in St. Albert. This role supports our retail operations and requires availability during evenings and weekends. Open availability is considered an asset. Applicants should be aware that this position requires a criminal record check.
What you'll do#
- Provide customer service while maintaining a safe and efficient store environment.
- Follow company policies and all regulatory requirements for the sale of alcohol.
- Process and package customer purchases using the point of sale terminal.
- Manage daily cash reconciliations.
- Organize, clean, and stock merchandise.
- Assist team members with general housekeeping and other assigned tasks.
What you'll need#
- You are 18 years or older.
- Ability to lift and move up to 20lbs consistently.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with attention to detail.
- Previous experience in liquor retail, cashier roles, or customer service is an asset.
- Experience with inventory, merchandising, or stocking is an asset.
- WSET training or ProServe Liquor Staff Training are considered assets.
- Interest in fields such as Business Administration, Communications, Marketing, Sociology, or Psychology.
