About the role#
The Advisory Red Co-op joins the Advisory team at Security Risk Advisors. You will work on various client projects while gaining exposure to different tool sets. This is a full-time, paid position.
What you'll do#
- Assess internal and external networks to identify security flaws.
- Work alongside internal and client blue teams to improve defensive capabilities.
- Perform dynamic security testing on web and mobile applications.
- Execute adaptive, flag-based red team engagements.
- Document your findings in reports and provide regular status updates.
What you'll need#
- An in-progress or completed formal cybersecurity training program, such as an undergraduate degree, boot camp, or certification.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of incident investigation, forensics, and advanced threat controls.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- A willingness to travel based on project assignments.
Location & details#
- This role is based on-site in either Rochester, New York, or Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
- The position is full-time with a standard schedule of Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm.
- Occasional evening or weekend work may be required.
