About the role#
Dominion Energy is seeking an intern to support the Power Delivery and Distribution business unit. You will work directly with our Category Management, Sourcing, and Materials Management teams to ensure the reliability of equipment and services. This is a full-time summer internship based in Richmond, Virginia.
What you'll do#
- Gain exposure to the sourcing of contracts and purchase orders for items such as transformers, wire, cable, and construction services.
- Perform in-depth data analytics to help develop supply chain management strategies.
- Develop and implement dashboards to track metrics.
- Perform spend analysis and process requisitions.
- Interact with internal customers and subject matter experts to drive supplier performance.
What you'll need#
- You must be a full-time student at a 4-year college pursuing a degree in Data Science, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or Engineering.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0 is required.
- Foundational coursework in Data Analytics, Supply Chain, Accounting, or Economics.
- Proficiency in Power BI, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, and AI tools like Copilot.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- An understanding of negotiation principles and value/cost analysis.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and competing deadlines.
- Knowledge of SAP ERP is preferred.

- Modality: This is an on-site position requiring 40 hours per week.
