About the role#
This internship provides exposure to the Program Management function within an aerospace manufacturing environment. You will report to the Head of Commercial Strategy while working alongside Program Managers to support new product development and commercial operations. This role is designed as a preparatory step for potential future careers in Program Management at the company.
What you'll do#
- Assist the New Product Development team with daily tasks and special assignments.
- Support commercial development programs by driving and closing project action items.
- Contribute to program execution and provide production support, including logistics and issue resolution.
- Prepare materials for customer reviews.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and standardization.
- Collaborate with internal departments such as Design Engineering, Quality, Purchasing, and the Test Lab.
- Complete at least one primary project during your term to present to the team.
What you'll need#
- Current student or recent graduate with a BS, MS, or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or Physics.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to solve unfamiliar problems using first principles of engineering and physics.
- Demonstrated leadership and technical competence through past execution.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.

- Schedule: Part-time, 12 to 29 hours per week.
