About the role#
This internship offers the chance to work on real-world projects that impact the organization. You will gain experience through a mix of project-based assignments and daily tasks designed to help you understand core business processes. What you'll do#
- Complete a project that meets department needs while applying skills from your major.
- Present your project outcomes to team members and senior leaders at the end of the summer.
- Perform daily tasks to learn the fundamentals of the business process.
- Support a culture of continuous improvement by identifying ways to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the implementation of team policies and programs.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree program in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or Economics.
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.
- Knowledge of business and management principles.
- Ability to use computers and software programs effectively.
- Willingness to lead, take charge, and offer opinions.
- Ability to work on your feet for multiple hours and lift at least 10 pounds.
