    About the role#

    This internship offers a chance to work on projects that impact the organization. You will gain experience through a mix of project work and daily operational tasks. The program encourages you to build cross-functional relationships and grow your professional skills.

    What you'll do#

    • Complete a real-world project that addresses a specific business challenge and present your findings to the team and senior leadership at the end of the summer.
    • Perform day-to-day tasks to learn the fundamentals of our processes.
    • Support a culture of continuous improvement by identifying ways to increase efficiency and remove waste.
    • Ensure all work meets line, department, facility, and USDA/FDA guidelines.
    • Participate in team meetings and contribute to team cohesiveness.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in a Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree program in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Operations Management, or Business Administration.
    • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
    • Knowledge of business and management principles.
    • Ability to use computers and software effectively.
    • Ability to work on your feet for multiple hours, work in various temperatures, and lift at least 10 pounds.
