About the role#
Ingredion is hiring a Financial Planning and Analysis Intern for our Food and Industrial Ingredients team for the summer 2027 term. This full-time, paid internship is based in Westchester, Illinois, and follows a hybrid schedule. You will work alongside our finance team to assist with reporting, budgeting, and forecasting while gaining exposure to corporate financial processes.
What you'll do#
- Build financial models and analysis for net sales bridges and sensitivity analysis.
- Track monthly OPEX and SG&A spending against budgets, forecasts, and prior year results.
- Conduct variance analyses to find the drivers of spending performance.
- Assist with the annual budget development and monthly forecasting cycles.
- Provide support for monthly and quarterly reports, strategic planning, and ad hoc requests.
- Support financial modeling and scenario analysis for capital and growth initiatives.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program with a focus on Finance.
- Completion of at least two years of undergraduate coursework, with status as a junior or senior.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0.
- Working knowledge of MS Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States. We do not provide sponsorship for this role.

- Work Modality: Hybrid, requiring on-site presence 3 days per week.
- Transportation: Reliable transportation is required to get to and from the facility.
