About the role#
Simon Property Group is hiring an Audit Intern to gain experience in both internal and external audit processes. You will work directly with our external audit firm and the internal audit team to support our financial oversight. This is a full-time, paid internship based in Indianapolis.
What you'll do#
- Assist external auditors with Sarbanes-Oxley control testing, annual financial audits, and partnership audits.
- Perform tests of control and document your findings in audit workpapers.
- Help the Audit Services team plan and execute various audit projects.
- Develop risk assessments and apply your accounting coursework to real-world tasks.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Strong computer skills, specifically a working knowledge of Excel and Word.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently as a self-starter.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills to interact with various team members and clients.
Location & details#
- Location: Indianapolis, Indiana.
- Work modality: On-site.
- Availability: 35 to 40 hours per week during the summer, with the potential for additional hours into the school year.
