About the role#
Simon is looking for a Data Engineering Intern to build data models, pipelines, and dashboards. You will work with data engineers, scientists, and BI developers to turn raw data from marketing, media, leasing, and operations into clean datasets. This is a hands-on role where you will write SQL, ship models, and present your work to the Data and Analytics team.
What you'll do#
- Build data pipelines to connect to and ingest data from various sources.
- Create, enhance, and document data models within Fabric and Snowflake platforms.
- Profile source data to investigate discrepancies and improve data quality.
- Partner with analysts to translate business questions into reusable datasets.
- Develop and refine dashboards and reports in Power BI.
- Build and enhance data agents as needed.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or AI.
- Working knowledge of SQL, including joins, aggregations, and window functions.
- Working knowledge of Python for data manipulation.
- Exposure to a BI tool such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker through coursework, projects, or prior internships.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and curiosity about business operations.

- This is an on-site, full-time, paid internship with a rolling term.
