About the role#
Simon Property Group is hiring a Legal Leasing Intern for the summer of 2027. This full-time, paid position is based in Indianapolis, Indiana. You will work on-site and gain exposure to commercial document negotiation and drafting within a corporate real estate setting.
What you'll do#
- Review and research Lender Approval Requirements, Internet Sales Reporting, and Tenant Entity/Guarantor Requirements.
- Assist staff attorneys in the negotiation of lease and lease-related documents.
- Prepare routine internal reports.
- Draft legal correspondence under the supervision of staff attorneys.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited law school.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Working familiarity with Microsoft Word.
