About the role#
Soccer Shots is looking for interns for the Fall 2026 season. This is a hybrid role that splits your time between coaching on the field and supporting business operations in the office. You will help lead soccer sessions for children ages 18 months to 8 years old while gaining hands-on experience in marketing and community outreach. This is a paid, full-time internship.
What you'll do#
- Lead fun and engaging soccer sessions for children.
- Coach on the field at local schools and community centers.
- Support marketing efforts to promote programs.
- Assist with daily business operations.
- Help coordinate and support community events.
What you'll need#
- A desire to positively impact children through sports and fitness.
- You must be at least 18 years of age.
- A valid driver's license and access to an insured personal vehicle.
- Reliable transportation to commute to the Burtonsville office and various coaching sites.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Prior experience working with children is preferred, though not required.
- Pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or Communications.

- Locations: Rockville, Maryland and Burtonsville, Maryland.
- Term: Fall 2026 (August 17 to December 4, 2026).
- Format: Hybrid (50% on-field coaching, 50% office and events).
- Availability: Must be able to work 30+ hours per week, including weekends.
