About the role#
Soccer Shots Central Indiana offers a comprehensive internship program for students interested in business, marketing, communications, or operations. This role provides direct exposure to the inner workings of a successful franchise system. You will gain experience in coaching, event planning, and administrative management while supporting our programs for children ages 2-8.
What you'll do#
Your responsibilities will span several key areas of our business:
- Leadership & Management: Assist in the execution of the seasonal schedule, coach youth sessions, and manage customer communications through our portal and NPS survey responses.
- Hiring & HR: Prepare hiring binders, organize materials for new staff, and participate in interview processes for future interns.
- Event Planning: Organize and execute seasonal events and community outreach projects. This includes creating logistics plans, finding volunteers, and promoting events.
- Administration: Handle data entry, inventory management, and marketing tasks. You will prepare seasonal newsletters, team photo emails, and social media content.
- Professional Development: Attend weekly 1-1 meetings with the HR & Administrative Coordinator and leadership team meetings. You will read two business books, learn leadership tools, and present projects to the leadership team.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program such as Business Administration, Communications, Marketing, or Operations Management.
- A professional demeanor in all interactions.
- Consistent punctuality for office hours, coaching sessions, and events.
