About the role#
Soccer Shots is hiring for a Fall 2026 internship focused on youth sports development. This role offers a mix of field coaching and office experience. You will work with children ages 18 months to 8 years old at various locations including preschools, parks, and community centers. This is a paid, full-time position requiring at least 30 hours per week, including weekend availability.
What you'll do#
- Lead fun and engaging soccer sessions for young children.
- Support marketing initiatives and business operations.
- Assist with community events.
- Gain hands-on experience in the day-to-day operations of a youth sports franchise.
What you'll need#
- A desire to positively impact children through sports and fitness.
- You must be at least 18 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license and access to a personal, insured vehicle.
- Reliable transportation to commute to the office and various coaching sites.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Prior experience working with children is preferred, though soccer experience is not required.
- Enrollment in a Marketing or Business Administration program is preferred.

- This is a hybrid role based in Arlington, Virginia, and Burtonsville, Maryland.
- The internship runs from August 17 to December 4, 2026.
- Compensation is provided.
