About the role#
This is a paid internship focused on youth sports development. You will split your time between coaching on the field and supporting administrative tasks in the office. It is a full-time role requiring at least 30 hours per week, including weekend availability. The internship term runs from August 17 to December 4, 2026.
What you'll do#
- Lead fun, engaging soccer sessions for children ages 18 months to 8 years.
- Assist with marketing initiatives to promote our programs.
- Support daily business operations.
- Help coordinate and participate in community events.
What you'll need#
- A desire to positively impact children through sports and fitness.
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- A valid driver's license and access to an insured personal vehicle.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Prior experience working with children is preferred, though soccer experience is not required.
Location & details#
- This position is based in the Baltimore-Washington area.
- You must be able to commute to our office in Burtonsville, Maryland.
- You must be able to travel to various coaching sites located 30 to 45 minutes away.
- The role follows a hybrid format, split between on-field coaching and office or event support.
