About the role#
Soccer Shots is hiring a paid intern for the Fall 2026 term. This role balances time between coaching children and supporting office operations. You will work 30 or more hours per week, including weekends. The position is hybrid, with half of your time spent coaching on the field and the other half dedicated to office tasks and community events.
What you'll do#
- Lead fun and engaging soccer sessions for children ages 18 months to 8 years old.
- Support marketing initiatives and business operations in the office.
- Assist with community events.
- Gain hands-on experience in the day-to-day management of a youth sports franchise.
What you'll need#
- A desire to positively impact children through sports and fitness.
- You must be at least 18 years of age.
- A valid driver's license and access to an insured personal vehicle.
- Reliable transportation to our Burtonsville office and various coaching sites.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Preference is given to those with prior experience working with children.
- Preferred majors include Business Administration, Marketing, Operations Management, Communications, or Kinesiology.

- The role is based in Columbia, Maryland, with requirements to travel to coaching sites and our Burtonsville office.
- Internship dates run from August 17 to December 4, 2026.
- This is a paid, full-time internship.
