About the role#
South Florida ENT Associates, P.A. is seeking an Audiology Extern to join the team in Ormond Beach. This full-time, paid position offers the chance to gain clinical experience while working alongside experienced audiologists. You will participate in all aspects of patient care, from initial evaluations to rehabilitation.
What you'll do#
- Perform comprehensive patient evaluations.
- Manage hearing aid fittings for patients.
- Provide counseling and rehabilitation services.
- Conduct follow-up care for patients.
- Collaborate with experienced audiologists on clinical cases.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Au.D. program with eligibility for an externship.
- Completion of a BA or BS in an Audiology program.
- Ability to meet the one-year clinical site requirement for licensure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Professionalism, initiative, and a collaborative mindset.
- A commitment to patient-centered care and learning.
