About the role#
South Florida ENT Associates, P.A. is seeking an Audiology Extern to join the team in Winter Haven, Florida. This is a full-time, paid externship that provides hands-on clinical experience. You will work alongside experienced audiologists to develop your skills in a clinical environment.
What you'll do#
- Perform comprehensive patient evaluations.
- Conduct hearing aid fittings.
- Provide patient counseling and rehabilitation.
- Manage follow-up care for patients.
What you'll need#
- Current Au.D. student eligible for an externship placement.
- Completion of a BA/BS in an Audiology Program.
- Fulfillment of the one-year clinical site requirement for licensure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Professionalism, initiative, and a collaborative mindset.
- Commitment to patient-centered care and lifelong learning.
