About the role#
As a Nurse Intern II in the NICU, you will provide technical assistance and patient care under the direction of a registered nurse. This role focuses on supporting quality patient outcomes and learning clinical operations within a hospital setting.
What you'll do#
- Assess patients and help develop, implement, and evaluate care plans alongside registered nurses.
- Assist nursing staff with daily patient care and communication tasks.
- Participate in projects that improve health care delivery.
- Build your knowledge of clinical leadership.
- Complete assigned goals and take part in ongoing educational activities.
What you'll need#
- Graduation from a registered nursing program while awaiting licensure.
- Ability to maintain this job category for no longer than 90 days post-graduation.
- Computer literacy.
- BLS certification, which must be obtained within 14 days of your hire date.
