About the role#
This position supports the nursing team in a medical-surgical unit. You will work under the direction of a registered nurse to provide patient care and assist with clinical tasks. This is a full-time, paid internship for nursing graduates who are waiting for their license.
What you'll do#
- Assess patients and implement care plans under the guidance of a registered nurse.
- Assist nursing staff with daily patient care.
- Complete assigned goals and participate in ongoing educational activities.
- Contribute to health care delivery improvements.
What you'll need#
- Graduation from a registered nursing program and currently awaiting licensure.
- Ability to obtain BLS certification within 14 days of your hire date.
- Basic computer literacy.
- Note that this role is limited to 90 days following your graduation date.
