About the role#
South Florida ENT Associates, P.A. is hiring an Audiology Extern for a full-time, paid position in Miami. This externship provides hands-on clinical experience working alongside experienced audiologists. You will develop your skills in a supportive environment while using diagnostic technology and hearing solutions.
What you'll do#
You will participate in all aspects of patient care. Your responsibilities include:
- Performing comprehensive evaluations
- Managing hearing aid fittings
- Providing patient counseling
- Assisting with rehabilitation
- Conducting follow-up care
What you'll need#
- You must be a current Au.D. student eligible for an externship placement.
- You are expected to be completing a BA or BS in an Audiology program.
- You need to fulfill the one-year clinical site requirement for licensure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required.
- We look for professionalism, initiative, and a collaborative mindset.
- You should have a focus on patient-centered care and learning.
