About the role#
South Florida ENT Associates, P.A. is seeking an Audiology Extern to join the team in Vero Beach. This is a full-time, paid, on-site externship that fulfills the one-year clinical site requirement needed for licensure. You will work alongside experienced audiologists to gain hands-on clinical experience while treating patients of all ages.
What you'll do#
- Perform comprehensive evaluations and hearing aid fittings.
- Provide counseling, rehabilitation, and follow-up care for patients.
- Evaluate and treat patients of all ages.
- Use advanced diagnostic equipment and current hearing technology.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Au.D. program with eligibility for an externship placement.
- Completion of a BA or BS in an Audiology program.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A collaborative mindset with professional initiative.
- Commitment to patient-centered care and lifelong learning.
