About the role#
Southern New Hampshire University is looking for a student employee to serve as a Study Away Operational Assistant. This role supports Study Away initiatives by performing administrative, operational, and outreach tasks. You will help promote domestic and international learning experiences while building professional skills. When Study Away activity is low, you will support other Academic Affairs programs as needed.
What you'll do#
- Monitor and respond to routine Study Away inquiries.
- Track and log student interest and program participation data.
- Prepare and organize program materials for meetings, information sessions, and events.
- Create flyers, marketing materials, and promotional content using Canva.
- Provide administrative support to Academic Affairs programs.
- Deliver information about Study Away opportunities to student groups.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an Undergraduate On-Campus degree program at Southern New Hampshire University.
- Federal Work Study eligibility.
- Proficiency in Canva, AI tools, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Comfort speaking with students and presenting information to groups.
- Dependability, including consistent attendance and punctuality.
- Majors in Business Administration, Communications, Marketing, or International Relations are relevant to this work.
Location & details#
- This position is located on-site in New Hampshire.
- The role is part-time, approximately 10 hours per week.
- This is a paid position with an hourly rate between $13.00 and $15.00.
