About the role#
Southern New Hampshire University is hiring a Student-Athletics Marketing Assistant to support the Athletic Department. This role involves a mix of office work and on-site event support at various varsity sports games.
What you'll do#
- Assist the Associate AD and Marketing Coordinator with daily operations.
- Create promotional plans for specific varsity sports.
- Organize and run contests, promotions, and other game day activities.
- Manage game day marketing, including production tasks before, during, and after events.
- Coordinate event logistics like item distribution, table set-ups, and on-field presentations.
- Post game day advertisements across campus each week.
- Brainstorm event ideas and develop execution plans.
- Attend assigned home games for basketball, soccer, hockey, baseball, field hockey, softball, and track and field.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Undergraduate or Graduate Day program at SNHU.
- Work Study status as part of your financial aid package.
- Preference is given to students with experience in photography, marketing, or graphic design.
Location & details#
- This is an on-site position in New Hampshire.
- The schedule includes a mix of weekday office hours and evening or weekend game coverage.
- The hourly pay range is $13.00 to $15.00.
