About the role#
This position supports Parking and Transportation Services at the University of South Florida. You will report to the Customer Service Supervisor and work alongside a UCM representative. This role involves frequent interaction with the PATS leadership team to manage digital content and promotional efforts.
What you'll do#
- Create and manage social media accounts to communicate with customers and manage public relations.
- Craft, post, and monitor content to promote services and share information.
- Review and make recommendations for the website layout and content.
- Maintain, update, and optimize the division website.
- Design, update, and maintain an inventory of promotional materials.
- Represent the division at campus and community tabling events.
- Assist with the development of presentations.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a USF student with a Federal Work Study (FWS) award.
- High school diploma and appropriate college coursework.
- Experience in design and marketing.
- Understanding of public relations principles and marketing techniques.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Knowledge of social media platforms like Instagram and Facebook.
- Familiarity with design programs such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and CapCut.
- Willingness to share your goals and interests to tailor the experience.
Location & details#
- Location: Tampa, Florida.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Up to 20 hours per week, flexible between Monday and Friday, 8am to 5pm.
- Compensation: $15.30 per hour.
- Requirement: You must provide proof of your current FWS award with your application.
