About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2026. You will work on projects that connect your academic studies to real-world manufacturing challenges. Each intern receives a specific project at the start of the summer and presents their findings at a project expo at the end of the term. You will work with mentors and team members to develop timelines, track progress, and deliver results.
What you'll do#
- Work with project stakeholders to define budgets, deliverables, and timelines.
- Create and manage Gantt charts to monitor project progress.
- Handle budget tracking and management using Excel.
- Perform CAD design work.
- Participate in meetings to ensure stakeholder needs are met.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited college or university pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
- A minimum GPA of 2.5.
- Reliable transportation to and from the work site.
- Proven experience working within a team.
- Strong skills in organization, planning, and analysis.
- Ability to communicate effectively in both written and oral formats.
