    About the role#

    As a Controls Engineer, you will support control system integration projects to modernize manufacturing operations. You will work with project teams and client stakeholders to design, program, and troubleshoot automated systems. This role provides hands-on experience with automation and project execution while allowing you to build technical expertise under the guidance of experienced professionals.

    What you'll do#

    • Design, program, and troubleshoot automated machinery and line control systems.
    • Develop user applications that monitor and control production processes for consumer goods and regulated manufacturing environments.
    • Create industrial controller PLC programs and human machine interfaces.
    • Design electrical control panels and maintain related project documentation.
    • Design control systems that provide real-time production lifecycle feedback.
    • Support project teams with integration deliverables and client-facing work.
    • Travel to client sites to assist with manufacturing process design, installation, and start-up activities.
    • Build technical capabilities through hands-on exposure to automation and electrical design.
    • Contribute to client and team relationships through project work.

    What you'll need#

    • Bachelor of Science in electrical, mechatronic, mechanical, chemical, or computer engineering, or an equivalent technical degree.
    • Academic, co-op, internship, or project experience applying engineering fundamentals to automation or control systems.
    • Foundational knowledge of programming methods, electrical design, and engineering problem solving.
    • Exposure to PLCs, HMIs, industrial control panels, or automated manufacturing systems.
    • Ability to travel for project requirements, including site installations, client meetings, and training.
