    About the role#

    As a Controls Engineering Co-op, you will join a team that provides hands-on engineering experience. You will work alongside experienced controls engineers, technical specialists, and project managers to solve manufacturing, automation, and facility challenges for our clients. This is a full-time, six-month term that offers exposure to the full lifecycle of controls engineering.

    What you'll do#

    • Design, develop, and implement automation and control system solutions.
    • Assist with PLC programming, HMI development, control panel design, and system documentation.
    • Create and update electrical drawings, control narratives, and I/O lists.
    • Participate in system testing, troubleshooting, installation, start-up, and commissioning.
    • Collaborate with clients, vendors, contractors, and cross-functional engineering teams.
    • Help identify technical issues and evaluate potential solutions.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in an accredited bachelor’s degree program in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation Engineering, or a related field.
    • Availability to complete a full-time, six-month co-op term starting in January or June 2027.
    • A willingness to travel based on project needs.
    • Strong analytical, technical problem-solving, and communication skills.

    Location & details#

    • This role is paid and supports a full-time schedule.
    • Work may be performed remotely, on-site at a U.S. office, or at client locations depending on project requirements.
    • We do not provide sponsorship for this position.
