About the role#
This internship program provides students pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree with hands-on work experience. You will gain insight into the systems and processes used to meet customer needs. Throughout the term, you will work with a manager and a buddy who provide coaching and mentorship to help you develop your skills.
What you'll do#
- Complete internal projects to deliver customer outcomes and identify business improvements.
- Assist engineers and technologists with research, data analysis, and technical support.
- Participate in the design process, create drawings or prototypes, and contribute to new product development.
- Maintain records of experiments, designs, and project information.
- Prepare reports and documentation.
- Collaborate on software development, coding, or programming tasks.
- Work within a team to address technical issues and communicate project goals.
- Apply Health, Safety, and Environment (HS&E) standards in all situations.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelors or Masters degree program in Engineering, Technology, Mechanics, or a related STEM field.
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale, or the equivalent.
- Fluency in oral and written English.
- Effective communication skills.
- Ability to relocate for the duration of the internship.
- Authorization to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
