    About the role#

    The Future Engineer Program is designed to develop students who want to build a long-term career in engineering and operations. You will work on projects that contribute to our business goals while gaining exposure to different areas of our organization. We look for students who want to develop into future leaders in project management, plant leadership, or continuous improvement.

    What you'll do#

    • Gain hands-on experience within a manufacturing environment.
    • Partner with Engineering, Operations, Maintenance, Quality, and Safety teams.
    • Analyze problems, evaluate data, and develop practical solutions.
    • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
    • Take ownership of specific projects and present your results and learnings to company leaders.
    • Build professional relationships across the organization.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in a bachelor's degree program in Engineering.
    • Demonstrated initiative, problem-solving skills, and a willingness to take ownership of tasks.
    • Experience in a leadership role within a student organization, class project, team, volunteer activity, or committee.
    • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
    • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment, which includes standing for long periods, climbing stairs or ladders, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
    • Ability to work in small spaces and at heights.
