About the role#
As a Data Science Intern, you will join the Commercial Excellence organization within the Trauma and Extremities division. You will work on proactive and predictive insights to help inform strategic decisions. This role involves hands-on data exploration and the use of advanced analytics to support business outcomes.
What you'll do#
- Develop, analyze, and model organizational data including operational, economic, and management information.
- Identify trends and forecast business outcomes to support initiatives in Inventory, PLCM, and Customer Service.
- Build scalable solutions that improve business impact and support data-driven strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify trends and refine internal processes.
- Use tools such as Python, SQL, and data visualization platforms to complete project tasks.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or Business Administration.
- Must remain enrolled in a degree-seeking program after the internship concludes.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without the need for sponsorship now or in the future.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid remote internship with a rolling start date.
- Compensation ranges from $20 to $35 per hour.
- Benefits include 11 paid holidays, a sign-on bonus, and either paid corporate housing or a living stipend depending on the hiring location.
