About the role#
We are looking for a Systems Development Intern to join our Information Technology team for a 6-month period. You will focus on Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) development and support. This role provides hands-on training in our development standards and business processes. You will work alongside senior developers and analysts to build solutions that support our Finance, Operations, and Supply Chain functions. This position is full-time and on-site in Lafayette, Louisiana.
What you'll do#
- Learn and support Oracle EBS applications and customizations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues reported by business users.
- Modify and enhance existing Oracle EBS forms, reports, interfaces, and custom programs.
- Develop new solutions under the guidance of senior team members.
- Participate in system testing, validation, and quality assurance.
- Assist with database queries, data analysis, and documentation of technical designs.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Data Science.
- Strong working knowledge of Windows OS and Microsoft Office.
- A basic understanding of databases and structured data concepts.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to learn new technologies and business processes quickly.
- Familiarity with SQL, PL/SQL, or ERP systems is a plus.
- Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States.
