About the role#
The DCIM Technical Intern role is a project-based position for students to learn about the data center industry. You will work on various tasks based on your background, technical skills, and current business needs. This role provides exposure to Data Center Infrastructure Management solutions while you build professional skills and solve real-world challenges.
What you'll do#
- Participate in department and cross-functional projects.
- Assist with research, data analysis, testing, and process improvement.
- Complete assigned project tasks and meet deadlines.
- Create and maintain documentation, reports, and presentations.
- Learn about Sunbird Software products, business processes, and industry practices.
- Identify opportunities to improve workflows and present findings to management.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing an Associate's, Bachelor's, or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and with a team.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work at a computer for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds if needed.

- Location: Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- This is a paid, full-time internship.
